What if Jurassic Park ... worked, thanks to Xfinity Internet? For Xfinity’s Super Bowl debut in 2026, beyond a TV commercial, we did a ton of other things to picture a very different ending for the most iconic movie of all time.

Awarded 2x Merit at One Show, 1x Merit at ADC Global, 1x Shortlist at ANDY, 1x Shortlist at Super Clio.
It all started with this stunt at the 76ers arena in Philadelphia during the Sixers vs. Bucks game, where we recreated the tech meltdown from the original movie during a live broadcast. Things took off on Twitter and Reddit almost instantaneoulsy, and it got picked up by a ton of basketball fan accounts.
Then, we launched a contest for people to crack that infamous Magic Word to win a trip to where Jurassic Park was filmed,
and the contest’s microsite faithfully mimicked the UNIX system interface of Dennis Nedry’s computer in the movie.
We fabricated a tourism commercial that would have aired in 1993 if Jurassic Park had opened. This ran on TV during Super Bowl pregame. And due to some glitch in the matrix, it racked up more than 1 million views on Youtube within 48 hours.
Since we were so committed to the bit, we released the whole campaign on actual, physical VHS tapes.
And lastly, here’s the main commercial that ran during the 3rd quarter. Directed by Taika Waititi. Original score by John Williams.
